The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda has advised that the AirNav system at the V.C. Bird International Airport has been contracted to arrive Antigua in eight or ten weeks<\/g> and will be installed shortly thereafter.<\/p>

It was reported in the press that the system has failed because it is many years old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“However, the Minister of Aviation has advised that the final payment is about to be made on the replacement system; the modern equipment is to be delivered shortly, and not in the six months that it would normally take,” the government said.<\/p>
