The case against a Jolly Harbour motorist, Katja Geisler, accused of causing life-changing injuries to tourist William Nouy, has been dismissed.<\/p>

Nouy, from Guadeloupe, was reportedly struck by Geisler while walking near Falmouth Harbour Marina on June 5, 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially, his injuries seemed non-life-threatening, but his condition deteriorated, leading to a coma.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

After being airlifted to Guadeloupe and then to Paris for extensive treatment, Nouy gradually recovered his ability to walk, eat unaided, and communicate with loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Geisler’s lawyer, Lawrence Daniels, argued that the police’s failure to produce a case file and Nouy’s departure from Antigua were grounds for the case’s dismissal.<\/p>
