Woman Found with Drugs at Airport<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 30-year-old woman is in police custody, after she was found with cocaine and cannabis at V.C Bird International Airport.<\/p>

On Thursday, May 30, police officers from the Narcotics Department were on duty at the airport, when they met the resident of #1 George Street inside the departure lounge.<\/p>

A search was carried out on her person and she was found with1\u00bc pound of cannabis and 42.5 grams of cocaine strapped to her body.<\/p>

She was taken into custody and is likely to be charged for drug trafficking and other drug-related offences offences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The cocaine is estimated at $1,487.50, while the cannabis is valued at $3,500. Further investigations are ongoing.<\/p>
