He emphasized that connectivity is a top priority for island destinations like Antigua and Barbuda, which rely heavily on robust travel networks to sustain their tourism industry.<\/p>

James proudly announced significant boosts in air connectivity to Antigua and Barbuda. This winter season, for the first time, American Airlines will offer daily service from Charlotte, while Delta will provide daily flights from Atlanta and a weekly flight from JFK. American Airlines will also maintain its twice-daily flights from Miami and daily service from New York. Additionally, JetBlue will increase its flights to five times a week.<\/p>

In the region, new carriers like LIAT 2020 are set to start operations with Antigua as their home base. Sunrise Airways will commence services on May 25, operating new routes between St. Kitts, Antigua, and Dominica. James highlighted the rebound in regional air travel and its positive impact on visitor numbers, especially from Trinidad and Tobago, the main source market within the region.<\/p>
