PM Browne Clarifies Lack of Extradition Treaty with China Amidst Opposition Questions<\/strong><\/p>

This statement came in response to Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle’s repeated inquiries about the legal framework for extraditing a Chinese national, a topic previously addressed by the Prime Minister on radio two weeks ago.<\/p>

During that radio announcement, PM Browne had acknowledged that any request from China for the extradition of a citizen under Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP),must follow due process.<\/p>

In Parliament, Browne reiterated the lack of an extradition agreement and expressed frustration with Pringle for raising the question again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
