SNRA INTRODUCES DRIVERS\u2019 EDUCATION CLASSES<\/strong><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Antigua \u2013 <\/strong>Sir Novelle Richards Academy has become the first educational institution in Antigua and Barbuda to successfully introduce Drivers\u2019 Education Classes for students 15 years and older. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course is being delivered in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB).<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The students began the course in February 2024, the curriculum is split into theory and practical components. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The ABTB continues to deliver the theory classes, while the practical component will be taught by Authorized Driving Instructors (ADI). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curriculum places emphasis on traffic laws and road rules, knowing your vehicle, safe driving and other related matters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to prepare the students to receive their Learners\u2019 Permit and License once they have satisfied all requirements set by the ABTB.<\/p>

Consequently, the first batch of students have already received their permit and will proceed to begin their practical lessons. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Successful students will contribute to increasing the pool of responsible drivers in our country and will expand their real- world skill sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir Novelle Richards Academy remains committed to the holistic development of every student and expresses gratitude to the ABTB and all other partner agencies who assist in the actualization of this vision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will continue to raise the standard through dedication and commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
