Water-En Energiebedrijf Aruba (WEB) and Seven Seas Water Group (SSWG) have jointly announced the signing of a 10-year Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) Agreement. Under this agreement, Seven Seas Water (Aruba) VBA will construct a new seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plant, contributing a minimum of 16,500 cubic meters of daily drinking water.<\/p>

According to a release, this plant will be an integral part of WEB\u2019s long-term strategy outlined in the Water Roadmap, aimed at meeting the growing demand for water while replacing a temporary water production facility.<\/p>\n

The selection of SSWG for this project followed a competitive tender process initiated in 2023.<\/p>

The new plant, slated to commence operations by mid-2026, will be situated on WEB\u2019s existing facilities.<\/p>
