LIAT 2020, a new airline backed by Antigua and Barbuda’s government, recently conducted training flights overseen by the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) to secure its Air Operator\u2019s Certificate (AOC) for future scheduled services.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The flights, including two to St Kitts and back on Saturday and two more on Sunday, were closely watched by ECCAA, the regional aviation authority.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Gaston Browne announced this development on a radio show, receiving public praise.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

LIAT 2020, in collaboration with Nigerian airline Air Peace, will soon receive three aircraft to further its operations.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

More training flights are planned as LIAT 2020 progresses towards AOC approval.<\/p>\n
