“Letter to Editor: Concerns Over Donna and Lamin’s Behavior Impacting Labour Party Image”<\/strong><\/p>

Dear Editor,<\/p>\n

I would like to address an issue through your popular online media platform.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

On March 3rd, 2024, I was listening to a talk show on Point FM hosted by Donna and Lamin.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The content of the show was distasteful and embarrassing for the Labour Party, especially Prime Minister Gaston Browne.<\/p>\n

Given that these individuals also participate in the popular Browne and Browne show on Point FM alongside the Prime Minister, I expected them to conduct themselves professionally to avoid reflecting poorly on the Prime Minister. However, this was not the case.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The Browne and Browne show, which was once well-received, has lost many listeners recently.<\/p>\n

The reasons for this decline became evident during the aforementioned show.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

I have decided to stop watching the Browne and Browne show because of what transpired.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

I believe that Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Senator Colin O\u2019Neal should request an apology from Donna and Lamin for bringing disrepute to his respected program.<\/p>\n

It was evident that Donna and Lamin were using their program to promote Lamin as the best choice for All Saints West, particularly Donna.<\/p>\n

This led me to believe that Prime Minister Gaston Browne supports Lamin simply due to their association on the Browne and Browne show, even though this may not be true, it creates such a perception.<\/p>\n

During the show, a caller expressed dissatisfaction with how Donna and Lamin were promoting Lamin without acknowledging the other two candidates, Regis Burton and Arry Simon.<\/p>\n

This lack of fairness was highlighted, and the caller mentioned that Donna seemed to have a personal bias against Regis Burton.<\/p>\n

Shortly after, the caller was cut off.<\/p>\n

This incident, along with other aspects of the show, led me to turn off my radio. I am now disillusioned not just with Point FM but also with the Browne and Browne show due to Donna’s behavior, particularly her disrespectful interruptions of the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n

The Labour Party appears to be self-destructing, especially with individuals from the UPP seemingly advancing without merit.<\/p>\n

The party leadership’s apparent blindness to this issue is concerning, as it is leading to dissatisfaction among Labour supporters, resulting in withdrawn support.<\/p>\n

If an election were called now, it seems unlikely that the Labour Party could win.<\/p>\n

I can foresee Chet Green having a good chance at becoming the party leader, especially with Lamin likely to support him.<\/p>\n
