Eyewitnesses noted the fire’s rapid spread due to dry conditions, threatening the school building.<\/p>\n

The fire, started by the groundskeeper to dispose of brush, was left unattended.<\/p>

Fire officers detained him for negligence.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, St John’s Fire Station handled multiple bush fires, remaining the busiest station this year with 70 out of 103 calls.<\/p>
