LIAT 2020, the successor to LIAT (1974) Ltd., is nearing operational readiness pending the acquisition of necessary Air Operations Certificates (AOC).<\/p>

Ambassador Daven Joseph, interim chairman of LIAT 2020, has confirmed progress towards full operations, with two demo flights planned this week.<\/p>\n

These flights, standard in aviation, aim to secure AOC in collaboration with ECCAA. One flight will go to St. Kitts on Thursday, the other to St. Lucia on Friday, with ECCAA officials and LIAT 2020 staff aboard an ATR aircraft from the former LIAT.<\/p>
