SOURCE REAL NEWS- Injured and on the ground while being accosted by two armed
\nbandits, a man\u2019s call for help is what saved him from being robbed.
\nReports say that two gunmen attempted to rob a middle-aged
\nCashew Hill man at about 1 a.m. on March 23.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

It is alleged that the 56-year-old man had just arrived home when he
\nwas accosted by the armed duo.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, he began to back away from the perpetrators, but
\ntripped and fell \u2013 at which point one of the men used an unknown
\nobject to strike him on the left side of his forehead.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/div>\n

They then allegedly began to search the victim; however, he began
\nto call out for help, which caused the duo to leave him and run off in
\na western direction.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

A 911 Emergency Hotline officer made a report of the attempted
\nrobbery to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), and a<\/p>\n

search for suspicious-looking persons was carried out in the
\nsurrounding area.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The search was unsuccessful, but inquiries into this incident
\ncontinue.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Police are probing the circumstances leading to an
\nAll Saints business being broken into by unknown individuals.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

It is alleged that an operator attached to Special Security Services
\ntelephoned the All Saints Station and reported that Sandra Conner
\nFines Store, located in the village, had been broken into.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

This offence reportedly occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on
\nMarch 22 and 3 a.m. on March 23.<\/p>\n

As a result of the report, officers reportedly visited the scene to
\nconduct investigations.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, the store owner said she had left her business place
\nsecured, but later received a call from the security company,
\nadvising that the building had been breached.<\/p>\n

Apparently the intruder had used a hard implement to pry open a
\nnorthern single-hung window, but had been unable to gain entry
\nafter the alarm system went off.<\/p>\n
