SOURCE- REAL NEWS ANTIGUA-<\/strong> An attorney and her nine-year-old son were traumatized by an armed robbery that took place in the early hours of Friday, March 22, during which three masked men entered their Piccadilly home.<\/p>

Reports say the woman was asleep in her room when she was suddenly awakened by the three unknown men at about 1:30 a.m.<\/p>

They allegedly entered her son\u2019s bedroom, as well, and held him in the hallway while they ransacked his mother\u2019s room.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The trio robbed the lawyer of two Samsung cellular phones and an HP laptop; a quantity of gold and silver jewelry; a black leather bag containing her Antigua and Barbuda passport, an American passport, her driver\u2019s license, her Social Security card and ECAB card, as well as EC$500.<\/p>\n

Additionally, a piggy bank containing EC$70 and a voter ID card were taken from her bedroom.<\/p>

One of the bandits is said to be of a slim build and about 6 feet 2 inches in height and was wearing blue jeans and a green long- sleeved shirt.<\/p>\n

He reportedly carried an orange-coloured gun.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

His two accomplices are said to be about 5 feet 5 inches in height and were wearing dark-coloured clothing.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

All three had shirts covering their faces.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the robbers entered the house through a sliding door that was closed but not locked.<\/p>\n

They made good their escape
\nthrough the wooden front door.<\/p>\n

A report of the incident was made to the Dockyard Police Station by the Piccadilly woman, who went to the station with her son.<\/p>\n

A search was carried out in the surrounding areas for the alleged offenders, but without success.<\/p>\n

Investigations into this armed robbery continue.<\/p>\n
