\nLiberta Police Station that her 16-year-old son, a suspected mental patient, had wounded her with a stone, and she was requesting assistance.<\/p>

Police met the teenager in the company of his mother and the allegation was put to him \u2013 at which time he reportedly became aggressive and advanced towards the constable and sergeant.<\/p>\n

While the officers were in the process of detaining the teenager, it is alleged that he attempted to bite and kick them several times.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

After he was detained and was being escorted to the vehicle, reports say that two dogs attacked the officers.<\/p>\n

As a result, the sergeant was forced to discharge three rounds from his service pistol in an
\nattempt to neutralize the ferocious animals.<\/p>

The alleged offender was then taken to the Liberta Police Station, but later released into the custody and care of his mother and father, in good health, pending further investigations.<\/p>\n

Reportedly the victim was advised to consult a doctor for injuries she sustained.<\/p>
