New charges have been filed against Superintendent of Police Ray John and his former partner Shakema Charles in connection with the passport scam they were allegedly involved in.<\/p>\n

They were initially cleared of all charges earlier this month, but were recharged and brought to court shortly after.<\/p>

The new charges accuse them of conspiring with Vincentian resident Lonzel Jones to create fake passport bio pages using unauthorized Multi-Layered Infilling Sheets.<\/p>

Defense attorneys Hugh Marshall and Michael Archibald represented the defendants, who maintained their innocence and made unsuccessful attempts to have the case dismissed before eventually succeeding with their second application.<\/p>\n
