This is an open letter to the UPP.<\/p>\n

This country needs a strong, intelligent and serious opposition. You are the nation\u2019s watch dogs.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

A strong performance by you in opposition could result in your victory at the next elections. I have been very impressed at some of the recent actions of MP Richard Lewis.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

His initiative to ask PM Browne relevant questions and then do the research and expose the lies was heartening.<\/p>\n

Not since the days of the late Tim Hector and the Outlet have we seen this.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Here are some two other issues to start:<\/p>\n

One. The government raped and destroyed the Dunbars Agriculture Station, supposedly because it was sited on prime lands and Antiguans wanted land for housing.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

I pass there a few times a day and I have not seen any surveyors on the land, there are no stakes indicating plots, no announcement has been made about sale of these lands.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

So pray tell me, how the new super executive chairman of National Housing, Rawdon Turner, can announce that all of the lands have been sold?<\/p>\n

To whom and how was it sold? It is my understanding that 80% of the lands have been earmarked for non-Antiguans to open businesses.<\/p>\n

If this is true and my source is very reliable, questions need to be asked and Antiguans need to keep their eyes open to see what happens and who secretly got this land. Nobody elected Rawdon Turner so Minister Maria Browne has to answer.<\/p>\n
