It is alleged that the 17-year-old Yorks Village resident was standing on Hand Street in Villa when a red Toyota Vitz pulled up and two men wearing masks exited the vehicle and attacked him.<\/p>\n

As a result, the teenager sustained a wound to the left side of his abdomen.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) was summoned to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Reportedly his injury was described as serious, but his condition was stable.<\/p>\n

It was a 911 operator who notified the Police about the incident, which reportedly occurred at about 3:45 p.m on March 7.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Meanwhile, a Bendals man has been taken into custody by the Police in connection with the discovery of close to quarter of a million dollars worth of marijuana at the main cargo port last week.<\/p>\n

Reports are that the 37-year-old man is assisting with investigations into the discovery of 41 pounds of the illegal drug, discovered\u00a0 at the Deep Water Harbour cargo shed during a joint drug-interdiction operation.<\/p>

The substance was contained in two cardboard boxes containing 41 vacuumed sealed packages, on March 7.<\/p>

It reportedly has an estimated street value of $246,000.<\/p>\n
