Reports say that a Radio Range woman telephoned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and reported that an AC Delco battery, valued at $300, had been stolen from her red Honda FIT motorcar.<\/p>\n

The victim says she had parked the vehicle outside her home and gone to bed.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

However, the following morning, she discovered that the right driver\u2019s window had been broken and the bonnet of her vehicle had been raised.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

When she checked, she realized that someone had removed her battery.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the unknown thief had used a hard implement to break the car window and gain access to the lever which opens the hood.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

This offence reportedly occurred sometime between 9 p.m. on March 4 and 8:20 a.m. on March 5.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a Scotts Hill man was the victim of a similar incident, and he also reported the matter to the Criminal Investigations Department.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Reports are that an unknown person stole a grey and orange Maximo battery valued at $300 from under the bonnet of his white Toyota Corolla Kingfish motorcar.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

This offence reportedly occurred sometime between 10:45 p.m. on March 4 and 7 a.m. on March 5.<\/p>\n

Reportedly the man had parked his vehicle facing east on Scotts Hill before going to bed.<\/p>\n

But when he woke up the following morning, he observed that the right driver\u2019s window had been broken out and the bonnet of his vehicle raised.<\/p>\n

When he went to check, he discovered that someone had used a hard object to break the window and access the apparatus that opens the bonnet in order to steal the battery.<\/p>\n

Inquiries into both incidents continue.<\/p>\n
