The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is advising parents and\nguardians of students enrolled at Holy Trinity School, Barbuda that sessions will\nbegin on Thursday at the Pentecostal Church.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

There appears to be uncertainty in certain quarters as to when and where\nclasses will be held for primary students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director of Education, Clare Browne explained during an interview this\nweek that Sir. Mc.Chesney George Secondary School, which sustained minor damage\nduring Hurricane Irma last year, welcomed students on Monday. For Holy Trinity\npupils, Mr. Browne stated that the National Office of Disaster Services (NODS)\nhad undertaken to assist in the construction of two temporary structures, with\nthe capacity to each house three classrooms. In the interim, classes will be\nfacilitated at the Pentecostal Church on the sister isle.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The director of education said there should be no confusion since the\nplan is clear.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cInitially we were going to bring the students out on Wednesday for the\nprimary school, but we were told that on Wednesday, they are having a day of\nprayer and fasting and then a service in the evening, to remember the passage\nof the storm and to thank God for how he has sustained them and brought them to\nthis place. So we plan to have the students come on Thursday and Friday to work\nwith them,\u201d Mr. Browne noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, Education Officer Andrea Airall and Guidance Counsellor\nDawn-Marie Hughes travelled to Barbuda, where they began providing psychosocial\nsupport to teachers and students simultaneously. <\/p>
