GEORGETOWN, Guyana \u2013 29th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2024\u2026\u2026<\/strong>On Tuesday 26th February, 2024 Antigua and Barbuda and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held bilateral discussions on the margins of the 46th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads to Government of the Caribbean Community in Guyana.<\/p>

The Honourable Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda engaged in dialogue with His Excellency Mr. Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy surrounding opportunities for trade and investments between both countries.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The Prime Minister thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its support towards the expansion of the University of the West Indies, Five Island Campus. He further endeavoured to strengthening relations between both nations, while mentioning that Saudi Arabia has shown global leadership based on mutual respect and shared values.<\/p>\n

Minister Al-Jubeir also praised Prime Minister Browne\u2019s leadership on the global stage and pledged Saudi Arabia\u2019s support for the existing partnership between the two countries, with a vision for mutual investment opportunities to benefit both societies.<\/p>

Both parties also discussed support and contributions towards SIDS4 which would greatly contribute to SIDS countries achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n
