Former travel agent Michelle Anthony faces mounting accusations of scamming individuals out of nearly $50,000.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Her committal hearing, originally scheduled for April 24, was adjourned as police gather evidence.<\/p>\n

Anthony, owner of Michy D\u2019s Travel Agency, faces at least four charges of fraudulent conversion.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Since news of the scam broke last year, more victims have come forward, alleging Anthony failed to fulfill ticket purchases and misappropriated funds.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

She is already charged with defrauding one woman of $4,355.80 in November 2023.<\/p>\n

Additionally, she faces charges for unlawfully converting $29,031.31 provided by the Government for personal use in August 2023, and for similar actions involving $1,500.00 entrusted to her by another woman in December 2023.<\/p>

Another victim reportedly suffered losses totaling $12,650.00 between August and December 2023 due to her alleged fraudulent activities.<\/p>\n
