The Ministry of Agriculture in Antigua announced today that Dr. Nneka Hull-James will be assuming the position of Animal Health Specialist at the Caribbean Agricultural Health and Food Safety Agency (CAHFSA) as of March 1st, 2024.<\/p>\n

CAHFSA, a CARICOM institution, is dedicated to supporting, efficiently coordinating, and harmonizing good agricultural practices.<\/p>

It provides supporting mechanisms in the areas of animal health, plant health, and food safety across the region.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Dr. Hull-James’ new role will involve coordinating, facilitating, monitoring, and evaluating national programs across CARICOM.<\/p>\n

These efforts are aimed at successfully addressing the harmonization of animal health in the region. She is seconded for a two-year term.<\/p>
