Mr. Atley reached out to Mr. Wehner due to a recurring problem on his farm. He believes that a boa constrictor has been preying on his pigs, resulting in significant losses.<\/p>

Despite initially being dismissed by agricultural officials, Mr. Atley presented evidence, including a piece of a snake tail that his dogs had presumably bitten off during an encounter.<\/p>\n

According to Mr. Atley, the attacks began during the COVID-19 pandemic, with smaller pigs disappearing every few weeks.<\/p>

After releasing his dogs, Mr. Atley believes they successfully killed the snake, as they brought him a piece of its tail.<\/p>

The area where the snake is believed to be located emits a foul smell, characteristic of decaying snake flesh, supporting Mr. Atley’s claims.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Despite the evidence, agricultural officials have yet to investigate the matter thoroughly. Mr. Atley plans to clear the area where the snake is believed to be hiding to confirm its presence.<\/p>\n

He urges caution to others in the area, as the snake could pose a threat to both livestock and humans.<\/p>\n
