Some staff members of the Antigua and Barbuda Social Security Board have stopped performing their duties in protest of a manager.<\/p>

They allege that the manager assaulted a female employee some time ago but no action was taken against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exact nature of the assault is not known.<\/p>

The action had only a limited impact on the board’s operations as some customers are still being served.<\/p>

The aggrieved workers have met with their union and will meet again tomorrow to determine whether the action should continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
