Acting Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney has confirmed an incident in which a businessman on gun charges was questioned while he tried to leave the state over the weekend.<\/p>

Rodney said\nthe police officer did not know that Rey John (not to be confused with Ray John)\nwas given permission to travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John\u2019s original bail\nconditions on gun charges restricted travel but he obtained special permission from\na local magistrate before his trip.<\/p>

Not knowing\nthis, the police officer reportedly pulled John aside after he has checked in.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

According to\nlocal media reports, the businessman boarded the flight when he was approached\nby the officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When John provided adequate proof that he had permission to travel, he was allowed to go.<\/p>

He is on $35,000 bail for an\nincident which occurred at Club Viper which resulted in one man being shot in\nthe head on July 27, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim was not seriously wounded.<\/p>
