The Police are now investigating both incidents, one involving the St. John\u2019s Magistrates Court and the other the Ministry of Works.<\/p>\n

Reports say that an officer attached to Special Security Services telephoned the Grays Farm Police Station and reported that someone had broken a window at the court.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

This offence is alleged to have occurred at about 5 a.m. on January 18, on Martin\u2019s Road, in the area referred to as Knuckle Block.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Officers visited the scene to conduct investigations and saw that a restroom window located on the western side of the building had been broken out.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the security officer had been on duty in the building when she heard a loud bang.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

She conducted a patrol, but did not see anything out of place as it was still dark.<\/p>\n

However, she later discovered that the bathroom window had been shattered by a thick, cylindrical Energizer battery that was on the floor, along with several pieces of glass.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

A search of the area was carried out, but no suspicious persons we\u2019re found.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

In the other incident, the deputy chief security officer at the Ministry of Public Works reported to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) that some unknown person had maliciously broken a window at the Ministry.<\/p>\n

This offence is said to have occurred sometime between 6 p.m. on January 20 and 12:30 p.m. on January 21 at St. John\u2019s Street.<\/p>\n
