Skerrit urged all governments to contribute to the rescue effort with a solid strategic plan, responsible management, an executive president, and a board to ensure regional interconnectivity.<\/p>\n

Stressing the importance of government involvement in sustaining Caribbean airlines, he stated the need for USD20 million to launch Liat 2020 Ltd. The Antiguan government allocated XCD30 million to support the new LIAT.<\/p>
