The matter was reported to the St. John\u2019s Police Station and is now being investigated.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, two unknown men went into the victim\u2019s house and began to beat him with a stick while demanding money.<\/p>

Further reports say the man fought back and was subsequently relieved of his Android smartphone by the perpetrators, who then fled the scene.
\nThe victim had to seek medical attention for the injury he sustained during the assault. He received a wound to the left side of his head, but it was not life-threatening.<\/p>

Accordingly, after being treated at the hospital he was discharged.<\/p>\n
