Jamaica, concluding the year as the top-ranked CFU team at 55th globally, also stands as the sixth-highest team in Concacaf and one of the top 100 teams worldwide.<\/p>

The Reggae Boyz, as Jamaica is known, concluded the competitive year on a triumphant note, staging a remarkable comeback to defeat Canada 3-2 in the League A quarter-final of the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League. This victory, the first for Jamaica on Canadian soil, secured their place in the upcoming Concacaf Nations League Finals in March and qualified them for the CONMEBOL Copa America 2024.<\/p>\n

Haiti, Cura\u00e7ao, and Trinidad & Tobago maintain their positions as the other CFU teams within the FIFA top 100, with rankings of 89th, 90th, and 96th, respectively. In a challenging year, Haiti faced setbacks in the Nations League after a commendable performance in the Gold Cup group stage, while Cura\u00e7ao endured a tough run in the Gold Cup and secured only one win in the Nations League. Trinidad & Tobago had a memorable year, reaching the Nations League play-offs and securing three wins in Group A of League A.<\/p>

The CFU’s top 10 is completed by Suriname at 143rd, St Kitts & Nevis at 147th, Dominican Republic at 151st, Guyana at 157th, and Puerto Rico at 160th in the world rankings. St Lucia, holding the 167th position globally, ranks as the 11th CFU team and 20th in Concacaf. The Kittitians, or Sugar Boyz, had a challenging end to the year, while the Dominican Republic, Guyana, and Puerto Rico experienced varying degrees of success in their respective campaigns.<\/p>
