Christmas is that very special time of year, when we put aside our differences and come together with our families, friends and loved ones, to share in the joy of the festive season.<\/p>

But let us remember the real meaning behind the festivities: the joy of Jesus\u2019 birth and the unchanging message of hope that is so important, in these changing and often unsettling times.<\/p>\n

Let us look out for our neighbours who may be facing severe economic hardships, as our we are plagued by the mismanagement of our country\u2019s economy by the current administration.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

I encourage you to reach out to those whose circumstances defy the happiness that Christmas is all about \u2013 the poor and the elderly, the sick and the shut-in. And let us look out, especially for the children who look forward to Christmas with so much hope and expectation.<\/p>

Let us recommit to building the type of future that we want to see for our community and country. One in which our children are safe, healthy, and getting the best education; where our citizens are employed in well-paying jobs; where the right environment is created for businesses and entrepreneurs to flourish, and the right investments are made to ensure our economic stability and growth.<\/p>\n

To the people of St. Mary\u2019s South, thank you for the honour and privilege of serving as your representative and working with you to ensure a better quality of life for all.<\/p>
