Unicomer Antigua Ltd trading as Courts held its fifth annual Fashionista 2018 last Friday August 24th at it’s St John’s Branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight participants had the opportunity to show case their creations of which they were inspired by any item from any of our Courts Stores. <\/p>

The participants were Kelisha Phillip, Shirrine Gillon, Shem Henry, Laurencia Humphreys, Nicoya Henry, Ralstan Hughes, Anse Henry and Demarley Davis. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The competition was one of great standards and was deemed one of the best ever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each participant walked away with a certificate of participation and a Gift certificate compliment Courts.\u00a0 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Winner of the competition was Shem Henry, he walked away with $2,500. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Runner Up, Laurencia Humphreys, she walked off with $1,000. <\/p>

Second Runner Up Ralstan Hughes , he walked away with $500. <\/p>

Participants as well as the audience were well satisfied with this year’s\u00a0 competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One participant said ‘win, lose or place, I’m just pleased\u00a0 and grateful that Courts gave me the opportunity to display my passion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another, stated that ‘Courts has gone the extra mile for us.. Courts gave us a stipent of $300 to start our piece, plus we received certificates and vouchers. Hats off to Courts for this… we get nothing from the Fahion houses\/industries when we participate in what is called the big shows\/competitions’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courts thanks each participants for being part of Fashionista 2018. The show could not have gone on without you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We anticipate that 2019 will be great. <\/p>\n
