A new call center may soon open its doors in Antigua and Barbuda, Government’s Chief of Staff Lionel Max Hurst has announced.<\/p>

He did not provide all the details but said negotiations are already underway with the owner of the building to get things in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hurst said the call center will create new jobs although not as many as the one which closed on July 31st, 2018.<\/p>

He said an announcement will be made soon once the details are finalised.<\/p>

Close 400 people lost their jobs last month when NCO in Coolidge closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The owners told staff it had become too costly to continue to operate in Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>
