In a statement via the Government Information Service, the government said: \u201cThis devastating incident will cause a significant interruption to the academic process and will have adverse effects on the management, staff, teachers, parents and students at the Anglican school.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe understand the importance of education and the impact this disruption can have on the academic progress of our students.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Therefore, after consulting with the Royal Grenada Police Force Fire Department, Minister of Education, Senator David Andrew and other cabinet ministers, the decision was taken to immediately relocate students and teachers to ensure that their academic term can continue without further disruption.\u201d<\/p>

The statement said acting Prime Minister Joseph Andall assured that the relocation process will be \u201cas quick and smooth as possible\u201d.<\/p>\n

Counselling will be provided to students, staff and parents to help them cope following the blaze.<\/p>

Grenadian Police are continuing their investigation to determine what caused the fire.<\/p>\n
