Ian Lewis, Manager of the Water Business Unit at the Antigua Public Utilities Authority, stated that approximately 60% of the population is already experiencing relief.<\/p>\n

This improvement is attributed to the substantial rainfall brought by Tropical Storm Phillipe at the beginning of October, which increased water levels in dams and reservoirs.<\/p>

Lewis also mentioned the possibility of suspending the water rationing schedule for several months.<\/p>

Communities served by the Bendals water treatment plant can expect reliable water supply for the next 24 weeks, while those connected to the Delapps Plant will enjoy water availability for around four months, providing substantial relief to residents facing water supply challenges.<\/p>\n
