The head boy of Queen\u2019s College, Dario Rahming,\u00a0died on Saturday sending shockwaves through the school\u2019s community\u00a0as the circumstances and cause of his death remain unclear.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was an extraordinary young man and our hearts are broken.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

We ask for your prayers for his family, friends, classmates and the entire Queen\u2019s College community.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

We say that when one Comet shines, we all shine. But today, one of our Comets has fallen, so we fall as well,\u201d the school said in a statement posed on its Facebook page.<\/p>\n

The school\u2019s principal, Henry Knowles, told reporters that the student was on campus and collapsed\u00a0and that the school followed proper protocols.<\/p>

He said the staff are trained to provide emergency CPR.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of our nurses was on campus, she was outside with a sports event and she was able to be right there in place, she came and rushed to the clinic.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The ambulances were called. They came in record time, and until then, we were doing everything we could on our side,\u201d the principal said, describing the incident as a \u201cvery hard moment\u201d.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s our head boy and last week, I think it was, we did an\u00a0installation of him and all our senior leaders. I can say when he came on stage to get his tie pinned on him, the entire school went nuts. Everybody absolutely loves him.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s an extraordinary young man. You can put him in front as a poster of what we want the young men of the nation to be, and we\u2019re all so heartbroken because of it.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s smart. He\u2019s a devout Christian. He preaches.\u00a0He\u2019s not a selfish young man.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s well spoken.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s humble. He\u2019s very mannerly, and he\u2019s caring,\u201d the principal said, adding \u201cthis is a very hard moment for all of us and we\u2019re praying for the family, you know, we\u2019re praying for the entire staff and the Queen\u2019s College community.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
