REAL NEWS – Four people had to flee from gunmen, who apparently intended to rob them after an attempt to block the vehicle in which they were travelling.<\/p>

Reports say that a Swetes Village man reported to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) that, while he and friends were travelling on the public road in the vicinity of Lashings, two men \u2013both armed with guns \u2013 tried to block his vehicle.<\/p>\n

Allegations are the man and his three passengers, who are residents of Clare Hall, Cassada Gardens and Swetes, were driving from north to south on the Fort James Road, when a green Cherokee jeep attempted to block his Toyota motorcar.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

He was able to swerve away, he says. But, upon reaching the vicinity of the former Adelin Clinic, the jeep stopped again.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The passenger reportedly exited the vehicle, opened the victim\u2019s door, and cranked a small silver handgun.<\/p>\n

Allegedly, the driver of the jeep was also armed with a gun.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

However, the Swetes man was able to reverse his car and make his getaway on a by-road, where he parked the vehicle and hid in some bushes, while the other three passengers ran away.<\/p>\n

This incident reportedly occurred at about 3:30 a.m. on September 29.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The gunman is described as fair in complexion, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, of a slim build, and wearing a low haircut and low-cut beard.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Officers from the Special Service Unit conducted a search in the immediate surroundings for the vehicle and perpetrators, but they did not find them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
