Loop News – A 70-year-old man identified as Hardat Harriram died in an accident at Agricola, East Bank Demerara (EBD) on Tuesday morning.<\/p>

A report from the Guyana Police Force noted that Francis Kam was driving a jeep (PJJ 9372) at about 05:20hrs while Harriram was pushing a pedal cycle along the road.<\/p>\n

Police said Harriram who is from Eccles, EBD was crossing the road when he was struck down.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u201cThe front of the motor jeep collided with the pedestrian, who was flung into the air and landed on the surface of the road, where he received injuries on his body,\u201d the Police reported.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Emergency medical technicians pronounced Harriram dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

The body is at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, awaiting a post-mortem examination.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The driver of the jeep is currently in custody, assisting with the investigation.<\/p>\n
