NHC – In the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Lee has exhibited signs of resurgence, with Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunters recording maximum sustained winds of 120 MPH, making it a Category 3 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.<\/p>

Located approximately 285 miles north-northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, Lee is moving west-northwest at 8 MPH.<\/p>\n

While no coastal watches or warnings are currently in effect, Lee is expected to pass well north of the Northern Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico in the coming days.<\/p>
