The storm, currently positioned at 16.9N latitude and 51.3W longitude, threatens the Northern Leeward Islands, located approximately 780 miles east. Lee is moving west-northwest at 15 mph but is expected to gradually slow.<\/p>\n

While fluctuations in intensity are likely, the hurricane is projected to remain a potent major hurricane.<\/p>
