In the central tropical Atlantic, a tropical wave southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands is exhibiting signs of organization, with showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

Environmental conditions favor further development, and it’s expected to become a tropical depression in the next two to three days.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Additionally, late-week strengthening is likely as it moves westward to west-northwestward across the central and western tropical Atlantic.<\/p>

Formation chances are at 60 percent over 48 hours and a high 90 percent over seven days.<\/p>\n

In the eastern tropical Atlantic, a tropical wave is poised to emerge from the African coast.<\/p>

While it heads west-northwestward at approximately 15 mph through the eastern tropical Atlantic, there’s limited potential for slow development, particularly midweek.<\/p>\n
