The club owner accused of shooting a patron at his nightclub last week was charged with attempted murder today.<\/p>

Forty-seven-year-old Rey John allegedly shot 33-year-old Oszie Kelvin Russel aka Mongoose following a disagreement at the Viper Club last Friday.<\/p>\n

Investigators reported Russel was shot as he attempted to part a fight between John and another patron at the club.<\/p>

During the incident, the club owner allegedly discharged his licensed firearm and a bullet grazed Russel at the side of his head.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Police reported the wound bled profusely and Russel was taken to the hospital via ambulance.<\/p>\n

John is facing a charge of shooting with intent to murder and is due in court for his first appearance\u00a0on Tuesday.<\/p>
