An excessive heat outlook is issued when the potential exists for an excessive heat event \u2013 a heat index of 38 \u00b0C (100 \u00b0F) or higher and the mean wind speed is usually 18 km\/h (11 mph) or less, in the next 3-7 days.<\/p>\n

In this case, the heat index has the potential to rise to more than 41 \u00b0C (106 \u00b0F), in some areas, starting this Tuesday.<\/p>\n
