After four years of exemplary service, Antigua Cruise Port’s General Manager, Dona Regis- Prosper will be demitting office on August 18<\/span>th<\/span>, 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Antigua Cruise Port and the wider Global Ports Holding family wish her well in her new endeavours as the\u00a0 Secretary-General at the Caribbean Tourism Organization.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We thank her for being instrumental in the initial set-up of Antigua Cruise Port, mentoring and training the local\u00a0 team, and guiding Antigua Cruise Port through some of the most trying times the tourism industry has faced\u00a0 during the COVID-19 pandemic. <\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

We also commend her for the successful reopening of the port and bringing\u00a0 homeporting to Antigua, which has significantly benefitted the country. <\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u201cDona will always be part of the GPH\u00a0 Family,” said Mehmet Kutman, Chairman of Global Ports Holding during a farewell event held for Mrs. Regis Prosper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Regis- Prosper said, \u201cI am grateful for the experience I\u2019ve had at Antigua Cruise Port and in Antigua in\u00a0 general.<\/span><\/p>

I thank the team and wider port community for the support they\u2019ve shown throughout my tenure, and I\u00a0 am confident that ACP is in a good position to move forward.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As the company transitions, we are pleased to announce Cynthia Jacobs- Browne as the Officer-in-Charge,\u00a0 effective August 19<\/span>th<\/span>, 2023. <\/span><\/p>

Mrs. Jacobs- Browne is currently Antigua Cruise Port\u2019s Financial Controller and\u00a0 has worked at the company since its inception. <\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Over the past four years, she has worked closely with the\u00a0 company’s leadership in areas beyond finance including operations, port security, facility management, and marketing and leasing.<\/span><\/p>\n

She said, \u201cWhile change can be difficult, we wish to assure our industry partners and\u00a0 the local community that we are committed to growing and improving our cruise tourism product. <\/span><\/p>\n

We will\u00a0 continue to build on the relationships that we\u2019ve formed and our successes thus far. <\/span><\/p>\n

We remain committed to\u00a0 the development of Antigua Cruise Port.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cynthia Jacobs- Browne is an Antiguan business executive with over 11 years of experience specializing in\u00a0 financial accounting and management reporting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Jacobs- Browne holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting with highest honors from Florida\u00a0 Memorial University.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
