Mehul Choski, the Indian billionaire accused of fraud is denying the allegations made against him and has revealed\u00a0plans to reside in the country of his citizenship, Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>

Choski issued a statement this evening through his attorney Dr David Dorsette.<\/p>\n

“I can say categorically, that there is no truth to these allegations,” Choski said.<\/p>

Mehul Choksi is a diamond tycoon who is wanted for a US $2.1 billion fraud scandal in India known as the Punjab National Bank Fraud Case.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

He did not comment further on the allegations made against him on the advice of his lawyer.<\/p>\n

But on the question of his citizenship, the businessman said explained why he applied.<\/p>

“My application was motivated by my desire to expand my business interest in the Caribbean and to obtain visa-free travel access to over 130 countries.”<\/p>\n

Choski explained that he recently received medical treatment in the united\u00a0stated and “I am still in a state of convalescence\u00a0.”<\/p>
