St. John’s witnessed a day of contrasting events on Monday, as four stabbing incidents marred the city while J’ouvert celebrations filled the streets with revelers.<\/p>

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) reported four people injured in separate stabbing attacks, with three occurring in the morning and one on Kentish Road during the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, all victims received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Law enforcement authorities maintained a vigilant presence during the festivities to ensure safety.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Amidst the revelry, the EMS assisted four intoxicated celebrants during J’ouvert, and all were fortunately cared for by emergency medical technicians and their families without hospitalization.<\/p>\n

EMS Director Shawn Greenidge commended the reduced number of drunken cases this year and urged revelers to act responsibly throughout the remaining festivities.<\/p>
