Dear Editor,<\/span><\/p>

 <\/p>\n

During the yesteryears, many of us, as kids played a popular game known as \u201d Beedie Beedie what\u2019s hanging over your head?\u201d<\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

I am sure that Shuggy & his UPP colleagues are also very much familiar with the game.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

For those who are not, it is a game that involves two persons competing against each other.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One person has an item hanging over the other person\u2019s head and that person whose head is under the hanging item, would have to guess what the item is.<\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

 <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Now, depending on the rules of the game, if the answer is incorrect, then that person loses the game and subsequently suffer the consequences of being whipped & chastised.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For this upcoming bi-election, from my vantage point, it seems clear to me that Samantha Marshall is playing the same game with her opponent. <\/span><\/p>\n

Shuggy, Shuggy what’s hanging over your head? Let all your excitement stay until election day comes.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is very evident that this time around for this upcoming election,\u00a0 Samantha & her team has a very strategic game plan in place . <\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, for her & her team, it won’t be business as usual and so Shuggy & his UPP colleagues & supporters will be up for a rude awakening.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Samantha has certainly won round one. <\/span><\/p>\n

She got him & his team to succumb to their pressure they were enforcing and therefore forced him to throw in his towel thus resulting him to become the shortest serving parliamentarian in the history of Antigua. Very embarrassing indeed!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Perhaps, it was based on sound advice & from his very own intuition of smelling a rat that Samantha had set for him, he chose to resign shortly after he was elected into parliament.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Psychologically, Shuggy is still a head of the race.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The results from the general election should boost him & his team.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, the stats are now showing that he is losing a few of his supporters. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is now left to wonder if reality of proper representation is now taking the best of the St. Mary’s\u00a0 South\u00a0 constituents’ consciousness?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Samantha on the other hand is definitely making in roads in the constituency and thus increasing her support.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The constituents seem to have taken the last six months to ponder & evaluate Shuggy’s performance and finally come to reality that he is not the best fit to represent them in parliament.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At this time, it is my view, that Shuggy should change his game plan and come up with a new strategy. If not, he will no doubt end up to be the loser of this bi-election.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The present picture does not look good on his behalf. In addition his intimate association with his unscrupulous UPP colleague on\u00a0 ‘ Face Book live ‘ is causing a setback for him and is certainly not sitting too well with many of the St. Mary’s South constituents.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Shuggy needs to understand when he lie with dogs he will rise with their flees….. Now if he continues to go down that slippery road then for this upcoming bi-election, he will be definitely heading down a road of disaster.<\/span><\/p>\n
