During the EU-CELAC Summit in Brussels, Prime Minister Gaston Browne emphasized the significance of the Multidimensional Vulnerability Index (MIV) to international financial institutions.<\/p>

<\/a><\/p>\n

Co-chairing the UN High-Level Panel for MIV with former Norwegian PM Elna Solberg, Browne believes it can unlock substantial development financing for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and other disadvantaged countries.<\/p>\n

He urged all Summit states to back the MIV when presented to the UN General Assembly in September.<\/p>\n

Browne was delighted with the Summit’s resumption after eight years and held private meetings with potential investors interested in Antigua and Barbuda during the event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
