Loop News – <\/span>An investigation has been launched into the circumstance surrounding the death of a man, whose body was found in waters just off Bermuda\u2019s coastline.<\/span><\/p>

According to the Bermuda Police Service (BPS), the unidentified man was seen floating in the waters off of North Shore, Devonshire around 6:40 pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Three police officers entered the water to retrieve the man and immediately commenced life-saving efforts, BPS said.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The man was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u201cAn investigation surrounding the circumstances of the man\u2019s death has commenced.<\/p>\n

We are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time and seen a man near or in the water, to contact police on 211 or 295-0011,\u201d police said in a statement.<\/p>
