Prime Minister Gaston Browne had expected a decision to be made shortly after the US State Department announced the likelihood of two embassies being established in the Eastern Caribbean.<\/p>\n

However, Linda Taglialatela, the United States Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, revealed that the decision will take approximately 18 months.<\/p>

Other governments in the Eastern Caribbean are also eager to learn where the two new US embassies will be located.<\/p>\n
