The United Progressive Party (UPP) is urging the Antigua and\u2028Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) to be vigilant about voter\u2028transfers into St. Mary\u2019s South in order to prevent any fraud or\u2028hanky panky taking place in the upcoming by-election.<\/p>

Pearl Quinn-Williams, caretaker for Rural North, says the Party will\u2028be monitoring this poll very closely.<\/p>\n

This is in light of Prime Minister Gaston Browne\u2019s admission that\u2028persons were transferred from St. John\u2019s City West, into other\u2028constituencies, to boost his colleagues\u2019 chances in the January 18\u2028General Election.<\/p>

Quinn-Williams says that such manipulation will not be allowed to\u2028happen again, since the eyes of the Party will be focused on the\u2028Register for Elections and on ABEC, itself.<\/p>
